Tāla’s teachers are loving, friendly, and make learning music so much fun! The laughter-filled approach is perfect for kids, and I highly recommend Tāla to all families.

Genevieve & Ashrith

We discovered Tāla through a demo class, and now our child loves every session of Sing, Move & Play. She’s picking up beat, rhythm, and pitch while having fun with music and creative play. Highly recommend Tāla for its joyful and impactful teaching methods.

Smita Guleria

Tāla introduces toddlers to music creatively with fun songs, instruments, and concepts like highs and lows. My 3.5-year-old was thrilled by their summer camp's travel theme and couldn’t wait to attend each session. The team’s energy, discipline, and unique approach make Tāla stand out. Highly recommend it for parents seeking an engaging music experience for their kids!

A Music Program with 4 Levels for Your Child

Explore Tāla Kids' 4-level Play-Based Music Program for children aged 2 to 7, featuring personalized milestones and certificates to build confidence and foundational musical skills.

Inspired by the vibrant parrot family, children progress through Tāla Budgie, Tāla Macaw, Tāla Cockatoo, and Tāla African Grey—each level tailored to their age and abilities, laying the groundwork for a strong musical foundation.

Tāla Budgies

Level 1

Young Tāla Buddies begin their journey into music with a focus on discovering sounds, rhythms, and movements. Children will:

1. Identify and perform high/low sounds, loud/quiet dynamics, and fast/slow tempos.

2. Explore rhythms by clapping, moving to a steady beat, and playing simple instruments like shakers and drums.

3. Engage their voices in singing, whispering, and calling, building a foundation for musical expression.

Tāla Macaws

Level 2

Building on their budding skills, Tāla Macaw introduces collaborative music-making and performance. Children will:

1. Sing and play instruments together in group settings.

2. Develop a deeper understanding of pitch, rhythm, and dynamics through hands-on activities.

3. Explore instruments like woods, metals, and scrapers to expand their musical experience.

Tāla Cockatoos

Level 3

At this level, learners dive into structured musical concepts, gaining confidence in reading and performing music. They will:

1. Sing using foundational notes like mi, so, and la while identifying patterns in melodies.

2. Play and move to rhythms, recognizing quarter notes, rests, and more.

3. Begin improvising melodies and performing in ensembles, fostering creativity and teamwork.

Tāla African Greys

Level 4

Our most advanced level empowers children to master a range of musical elements with confidence. They will:

1. Sing diatonic songs and explore more complex rhythms like eighth and sixteenth notes.

2. Compose simple pieces and perform with technique in percussion ensembles.

3. Gain exposure to various pitched and unpitched instruments and exploring musical literacy
