Tala Education Pvt Ltd is committed to providing an enriching, safe, and transparent learning environment. Below are our detailed policies and guidelines for all our programs, including the Tāla Music Academy.

General Terms for Using Our Website and Services

Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
  • Tala Education reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By using our services, you agree to these terms.
  • Orders are not binding until acknowledged by Tala Education via email or dispatch.

Pricing and Availability

  • Prices, availability, and product descriptions may change without notice.
  • Any pricing changes will be communicated before dispatch.

Billing and Payments

  • All shipments are accompanied by a GST invoice.
  • Payments must be confirmed before dispatch.

Shipping Policy

  • Orders are processed within 3-4 working days, subject to product availability.
  • Oversized items may require custom delivery arrangements.

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Tala Education reserves the right to cancel orders due to unforeseen issues.
  • Refunds will be processed in the original payment method within 15 working days.

 

Returns Policy

  • Products are non-returnable unless received in defective condition.
  • Inform us within 48 hours of delivery for resolution.

Warranty

  • New products come with the manufacturer’s limited warranty, varying by product.

Tāla Music Academy Policies and Guidelines

Health and Safety Policy

  • The premises are under CCTV surveillance for safety.
  • For children, restroom needs will be attended to by a nanny or an admin staff member. However, parents are welcome to assist if preferred.

Pick and Drop Policy

  • Another parent or family member may pick up or drop off your child with prior notice via email or WhatsApp.
  • Written authorization is mandatory for any changes to the designated person.

Communication Policy

  • The fastest way to contact us is through our office number: +91 97310 55913.

Feedback Policy

  • Progress feedback will be provided twice yearly via email or as needed after a session.

Privacy and Social Media Policy

  • Photos, videos, and content from our programs may include your child.
  • If you have concerns about this, inform us in writing.

Parental Involvement Policy

  • Parents are encouraged to participate in sessions, workshops, and home practice to support their child’s learning.
  • Parents attending to the child at the centers are expected to keep their phones on silent or vibrate mode.
  • Parents are to avoid loud conversations on the phone or with other parents to avoid disrupting the classes that are ongoing.
  • Parents are expected to sit at the designated area allotted to Tala Parents.

Fee and Payment Policies

Monthly Fee

  • Fees are due at the start of each month and can be paid via UPI, Internet Banking, or Credit Card.

Pay-as-You-Go Option

  • The PAYG is no longer an option with Tala.
  • Tala identifies itself like a Music Education Academy and operates as any other school with fees paid quarterly, half-yearly, and annually
  • Monthly payments are given to special requests with payment commitments of direct debits with banking mandates made for no less than 6 months.

Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal Policy

  • Notify us two weeks in advance in writing for temporary or permanent withdrawal.
  • Written notices can be sent via email or submitted as a physical letter.
  • Payments will be adjusted with pending classes; refunds are not provided.

Class Schedule and Attendance Policies

Holiday Policy

  • We operate year-round, except the last two weeks of December and the first week of January.
  • If a majority of the batch is unavailable on a holiday, classes may be canceled with prior notice.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • If a teacher is unavailable, a substitute will be arranged, or the class will be rescheduled.

Missing Classes and Compensation Policy

  • Inform us a week in advance if your child will miss more than two weeks of classes.
  • No refund or adjustment will be provided for classes missed in the event of acts of God, government mandates and or in the event the child/parent has missed the class.
  • Missed sessions may be attended in other batches, subject to availability.

Home Learning Support

  • Missed content will be uploaded on Seesaw for reference.
